REACH conducts year-round programs aimed at making sports activities such as football, cheerleading and basketball accessible to children who may not otherwise have the opportunity to participate. Coordinated by REACH program graduates, REACH believes the sports program is essential for students whose families can’t support their extracurricular activities.

REACH sports programs provide students:

  • Lessons on the importance of balance between education and extra-curricular activities. Participants educational performance are monitored to provide any necessary support.
  • Field trips to local sports events (including professional games!) that provide powerful lessons on effort, proper conduct and the importance of physical fitness
  • Snacks and nutritional information necessary for health, strength and endurance
  • Daily transportation to and from practices and games
